Grönska, a Swedish FoodTech company that develops vertical indoor cultivation technology, has hired Daniel Schröder, a manager with vast experience in the food industry, as the company’s new Chief Commercial Officer.

Grönska was founded in 2014 by Robin Lee, Petter Olsson and Natalie de Brun Skantz. The founders of the company put together their experiences in architecture, cultivation and economics and made their company a force to be reckoned with in the vertical cultivation field in Sweden.

Some of the very important goals of the company are to enable a more efficient cultivation that spends less resources and to make a more self-reliant plant cultivation possible. With ideas of expansion, Grönska is now adding Daniel Schröder to its team as the CCO. About the recent development, Robin Lee, co-founder and the CEO of Grönska, has stated:

“We are incredibly happy to have Daniel with us in the team. He possesses a broad competence and is as cut and dried for the expansive phase Grönska is in.”

As the new CCO of Grönska, Schröder is aiming to make a positive change in the food system

Daniel Schröder has a well-established career and a vast experience in building sales and brands. He has worked for many internationally well-known brands and was recently working as a Marketing Director for Burger King in Sweden and Denmark. From now on he will be responsible for marketing and sales at Grönska. Schröder has said that the food system must change and Grönska makes it possible to produce food in a more sustainable way. Then he added:

“Vertical cultivation provides crops with better taste, better nutrition and longer shelf life – at a competitive price.”
