Stockeld Dreamery, The Stockholm-based plant-based alternative food company announced a Series A round of €16.5M co-led by Astanor Ventures and Northzone. Alongside them in the round was Gullspång Re:food, Eurazeo, Norrsken VC, Edastra, Trellis Road and angel investors David Frenkiel and Alexander Ljung.
Since Stockeld Dreamery was started in 2019, we’ve had some major scientific breakthroughs, but we know we’re still only scratching the surface of what’s possible. And we don’t want to trivialize the challenges ahead: What we’re doing is incredibly hard, requires a ton of smart people, expensive equipment, patience, perseverance — and capital.
