“Our goal is the same today as when we started: To be the best tool for car owners to easily find high quality mechanic for the lowest price. Part of this vision is to build the best software for car mechanics to service their customers” says Christian Legêne, co-Founder and Partner at Autobutler.
Currently the company has over 1200 mechanics signed up in Denmark and Sweden, and has processed over 90,000 car repair jobs since August of 2010. With the funding they plan to hit 12 European countries, but it appears Autobutler is starting its international rollout in the Netherlands, Germany, UK, and Norway, as the Autobutler site has been localized into those languages.
Previously the company has previously received investments from JF Ventures and Jesper Buch of Just-Eat and Miinto.
My only hope is that they continue to place a high weight on the quality of work done, rather than focusing completely on price. Flight aggregators have consumers booking travel based on saving a few dollars and not necessarily which airline provides the best quality of service, leading to cost cutting to the bottom line.
