Wolt Wins Top Finnish Prizes At 'Nordic Startup Awards'

Foodtech startup Wolt picked up three top awards, including one for top startup of the year, on Nordic Startup Awards Finnish awards ceremony on Wednesday.

Wolt raised earlier this year 11 million dollars from investors including EQT Ventures, Skype founder Niklas Zennström, Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen and Nokia chairman Risto Siilasmaa.

Wolt founder Elias Pietilä picked up the founder of the year award, while the firm also won award for the best newcomer.

Lifeline Ventures won award for best investment company and Moaffak Ahmed picked up angel investor of the year award.

Startup Sauna picked up award for the best accelerator programme and we at ArcticStartup won award for Startup Media of the year.
