Vainu.io. The company built an intelligent data collection technology that brings all the essential information from millions of open and public data sources into one place. Over the past three years, Vainu has grown from three guys and an idea in Finland to 100 people in five countries, more than 1000 customers, thousands of users, and 100 million tracked companies in its big data-powered database.

Event of the week

Nordic Startup Awards Grand Finale was held in Stockholm on October 18. It started with a networking event at the Pop House Hotel, the heart of Swedish music, which is right next to the Abba Museum. After a day full of networking with the tech stars from all over Nordics and the world, the event moved toSkandiascenen Circus for the Grand Finale Gala, where the best of the Nordic startup ecosystem were crowned in 13 categories. The startup of the year 2017 is Mindoktor from Sweden. Congratulations to the team!

Deal of the week

Frank.ai and WeWork to help WeWork residents take their online advertising to the next level.

The idea for partnership came from the fact that company’s US office was located at a WeWork co-working space in downtown Boston. While meeting other founders, the founder of Frank, Harry, realized that partnering up with WeWork could give his company access to hundreds of thousands of potential clients around the world and reached out to them with an offer.
