Stockholm based Truecaller announced yesterday that two top executives have joined their team – Ted Nelson former SVP Sales & GM at Stardoll joins as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Anders Gustafsson, former Finance Director at iZettle, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The company, which provides a crowdsourced phone number database for reverse number checks and name search through the web and a mobile app, has been growing massively. In the past six months, their user base has doubled to more than 20 million in the past 6 months. The company also tells us they’ve recruited 16 international employees to the team since last September.
The company is now focusing on commercialization, and should be releasing some new features shortly.
