Playstate launches Memdot game

Indie gaming firm Playstate Studios, run by Estonia-based Jono Chatterton, launched on Thursday its first title.

Memdot is a tiny memory game about dots – “a meditation in dot form.” as the team puts it. “We set out to make a casual game that provided some light relief from the daily grind as well as some mental stimulation,” Chatterton said.

“It is intuitive, one-handed game that you can play whilst doing whatever else with your other hand. To play you simply remember the colour and position of the dots and then tap the dots that match the background colour,” he said.

Memdot hits Apple AppStore on August 18 and Google Play on Aug 25. Playstate Studios is a 100% remote team working from different coffee shops and bedrooms in Australia, Estonia, Tunisia, and Russia.
