Swedish telemedicine startup Min Doktor has raised further $4.9 million (45 million Swedish crowns) in November from its existing shareholders including EQT Ventures.
The 2013-founded Min Doktor has now raised a total of $14 million.
The news wraps a good funding year for the Nordic online medical sector – which included Min Doktor’s direct Swedish rival KRY raising 6.1 million euros for its international expansion from Index Ventures, Creandum and Project A. In Finland online health portal Klinik raised 500,000 euros in November.
