Inventure adds Kiosked's Ekaterina Gianelli as Director

Since this year began, we first wrote about the launch of their new €50 million fund, then covered Ilkka Kivimäki’s addition to the team, and can now announce that Ekaterina Gianelli – formally from Kiosked – has joined Finnish seed investor Inventure as Director.

Inventure says with Gianelli joining the team, Inventure is launching a seed investment allocation, “a portfolio of 15+ seed-stage investments mainly in the digital and online sector.” These investments are said to be around €100,000 to €250,000.

Gianelli’s latest role at Kiosked was in the Delivery and Support team. Kiosked is a Helsinki online-content monetization platform we last wrote about here. At Inventure, she will be drawing from her roots and focusing on Online Media, SaaS and eCommerce.

Sami Lampinen, Managing Director of Inventure, comments: “Extremely well defined go-to-market strategy and 24/7 execution capability with a global mind set are needed to succeed in today’s start-up world. With Ekaterina joining the Inventure team we have a fantastic opportunity to guide our entrepreneurs in building a new set of digital success stories. Opening our new fund to seed-stage investments gets us close to entrepreneurs already when crafting the core elements for global growth”.

Inventure’s venture capital team now consists of Sami Lampinen, Timo Tirkkonen, Tuomas Kosonen, Ilkka Kivimäki, Fei Xu and Ekaterina Gianelli. Inventure operates in Helsinki, Finland, and Shanghai, China.
