EU Gives IndoorAtlas €2.2 Mln

Finnish indoor positioning firm IndoorAtlas has received 2.2 million euros grant from the EU.

Founded in 2012, IndoorAtlas uses the compass sensor in smartphones to detect anomalies in the Earth’s magnetic field to pinpoint a location indoors with their patented solution.

Thanks to its sub-two meters positioning accuracy and a platform that support both Android and iOS, the company empowers developers to create mobile applications for indoor venues, such as location-based services or proximity advertising.
