TactoTek’s new Advisory Board includes HTC co-founder Lon Tan, ex-Nokia executive Kari-Pekka Wilska, ex-CTO of Sony Shinichi Okamoto, in addition to Mirantis CFO Rik Thorbecke and Leslie Chard, former President of HDMI Licensing, LLC.

“We are honored to have the support of these global thought leaders,” said TactoTek CEO Jussi Harvela. “From technology and product innovation to access to our OEM prospects around the globe, and business building priorities to intellectual property strategy, our Advisory Board makes material contributions to our success.”

Opportunity in IMSE market

“Their willingness to invest their time in TactoTek reflects their confidence in the opportunity that we have to transform markets with injection molded structural electronics (IMSE),” Harvela said.

On the financing side, the EU gave Tactotek 2.5 million euros grant  in June. The firm raised 1.5 million seed round back in 2o12.
