ActInSpace, an international innovation hackathon inspiring young women and men worldwide to meet real-life challenges using space technologies and data is coming to Tartu. Dare to imagine and design innovative services and products that find every day uses for space technologies or data!
By taking part in the event, you’ll work with entrepreneurs, students, job seekers, developers and creatives from various backgrounds. In 24 hours the teams will come together alongside business mentors and technical experts.
The winning team will be invited to join the international ActInSpace competition in Toulouse Space Show on Wednesday, 27th of June, 2018 and compete for international prizes. The prizes include a Voucher of 100k€ of satellite-derived data and support for a start-up creation, A320 pilot training and visit of Airbus satellite integration room and 3D facilities and finally, a zeroG experience.

ActInSpace contest is initiated by the French Space Agency (CNES) uniting 65 cities across 5 continents. ActInSpace® is supported by ESA and the ESA Business Incubation Centres network. ESA BIC Sud France, led by Aerospace Valley, has been mandated by the CNES and ESA is in charge of the operational execution of ActInSpace 3rd edition.
