Quality-Focused Software Testing Service Raises 6 Million Dollars

Estonian mobile app testing startup Testlio announced closing $6.25 million Series A funding round led by Silicon Valley –based Altos Ventures and Vertex Ventures.

The company located in San Francisco provides a test case management service, which helps development teams in enhancing their quality assurance function while working closely with the customers. The solution enables the users to focus more carefully on their development capabilities by taking ownership of the test plan management and execution processes.

“In the future, our goal is to change the way companies think about their testing processes as a whole. With mobile applications, every brand is able to directly reach their consumers with a high-fidelity experience . . . We are expanding our service beyond mobile app testing so that we can continue to meet the changing needs of our customers now and in the future,” said Kristel Viidik, the CEO of Testlio in a statement.

Fast growing Testlio was founded in 2012, and it will invest the new funding to build out infrastructure in San Francisco and Tallinn to support its global customers.
