Does your business idea tackle climate change? ClimateLaunchpad aims on unlocking Europe’s cleantech potential

    Did you miss the submission deadline for our Media Accelerator? In case you happen to have an idea with a sustainable mindset, this might be your chance.

    Climate-KIC launches for the second time ClimateLaunchpad, what they call Europe’s largest cleantech business competition, to find new sustainable ideas.

    The main criteria for applicants is that the business idea must be about sustainability – The field of business on doesn’t count you out. The competition entries are judged on their impact on climate change, their growth potential and on skills and enthusiasm.

    ClimateLaunchpad starts at regional level: Every country has their own regional submissions following by regional boot camps and country finals. The top three entries from each country gets to pitch their ideas for Climate-KIC in semifinals. Finally, eight teams are selected in the EU finals to compete for the 10 000 € main prize in September 2015. The most promising entries gain access also to Climate-KIC’s Accelerator programme.

    The competition is available for participants in over 25 countries, which include all Baltic and Nordic countries. Check the submission deadlines from the regional sites:
