As the competition between mobile-game developers continues to heat up, King Digital Entertainment announces that they open a new studio in the Swedish capital, says Wall Street Journal Digits. The new office will concentrate on developing new mobile platform concepts and games.

The new studio in Stockholm will open in fall 2015 and the core team will be consisting of existing staff. Also further 30 new employees will be recruited, which will include graphic artists, producers and programmers. At the moment, King has game studios in seven countries and at the end of 2014 they employed approximately 1200 people.

King warned last month about their weaker revenue for the first half of 2015, and they’re working on right now how to attract a growing base of players and convert them into paying customers. According to WSJ Digits, King will also launch at least two game titles during the second half of this year.

There’s also good news for Microsoft users as Candy Crush games will be released on Windows 10 in the near future.
