Product design collaboration platform InVision has agreed to buy 2014-born  TrackDuck, the Lithuanian visual feedback and issue tracking tool.

The acquisition, InVision’s seventh in the last 16 months, will further connect and enable its digital product development process from design to delivery.

TrackDuck simplifies collaboration on web development projects by enabling visual feedback on live websites.  Teams can seamlessly manage issues through integrations with leading project management platforms, including Atlassian’s own JIRA Software, Trello, and HipChat.  TrackDuck will serve as a new point of connectivity between InVision and Atlassian, which have become essential platforms for digital product design and development teams.

TrackDuck has deep Nordic/Baltic startup roots as they first met at the Estonian-founded hackathon Garage48, that was taking place in Minsk at the time. Their team consists of Belorussians, Lithuanians & Ukrainians. TrackDuck also participated in the Startup Sauna accelerator program in Finland, where they registered the company.

The original idea stems from one of the problems that their co-founder was having when working with clients. As a Belorussian working in Lithuania he didn’t know enough of the language to communicate with clients very well. To they created a visual feedback tool, where clients could express the opinions visually just by clicking around.

“We’re delighted to welcome the talented TrackDuck team to InVision and to continue bolstering our collaboration with Atlassian,” said Clark Valberg, InVision Co-Founder and CEO. “By connecting the tools InVision customers rely on, we are helping teams deliver better digital products faster than ever.”
