Stina Liland is appointed as the new country manager of TheHub.se, the digital platform for helping Swedish start-ups to find talent and investors. Liland has an extensive background in startups. Before joining TheHub.se she co-founded of Startup Norway and Startup Extreme, companies working to develop the Norwegian startup ecosystem, and has worked as a Nordic program manager for 500 startups.
“Strengthening the eco-system for start-ups is a passion for me. I am proud to get the opportunity to work for TheHub.se. I look forward to developing the platform for the startup scene in Sweden and the Nordic countries and to help startups to recruit talent and get in touch with investors,” says Stina Liland.
Powered by Danske Bank and SUP48 TheHub.se is an online service that gathers startups and serves as a meeting place to connect with investors. The digital platform is also a recruitment site where companies can find specialists and co-founders. TheHub.se also offers other tools in the Nordics, such as legal advice, presentation support and an event calendar with current events for the Nordic countries. To date TheHub.se has +700 registered startups, +240 companies seeking advisors, +280 companies seeking investors and since the start 2016 over 6000 job applications.
