Seriously's BFF climbs to No1

Finnish Seriously’s new game Best Fiends Forever climbed to top the Apple iPhone charts in the key markets in the first weekend after  launch.

Best Fiends Forever was No 1 iPhone game in 7 markets, including Britain, Germany, and France, while it reached No 2 spot  in the United States, data from research firm App Annie showed on Sunday.

2014 launched Best Fiends, the company’s first mobile game, topped iPhone games chart also in 7 markets, but reached at best No 4 spot in the United States. The original Best Fiends has been the top grossing game on 17 markets, but most of them are small countries.

Last year Seriously raised $18 million Series A. The round was led by Northzone – an early backer of companies such as of Spotify and Trustpilot. Also Korea Investment Partners, Upfront Venture, Sunstone Capital and Daher Capital participated in the round that brought Seriously’s total funding to $28 million.
