Estonia's Frank picked for Telluride

Estonian adtech startup Frank, which is in the middle of its crowdfunding campaign, has been picked for Telluride Venture Accelerator in the United States.

Frank was one of the 8 companies picked for the 4-month accelerator programme in Telluride, Colorado. There were 177 applicants.

“We’re really looking forward to the opportunity of working with Marc Nager, founder of Startup Weekend, ex-CCO of Techstars and Telluride Accelerator’s newest Program Manager. His expertise and knowledge in the field, as well as the US market, will help us reach our goal to build an extensive network for marketing and sales in the US,” said co-founder Harry Kanistik.

Frank is a self-serve programmatic advertising platform to help SMEs easily launch cross-channel online advertising campaigns with lower costs. By combining artificial intelligence technology with a simple user interface we’re bringing a complex technology to masses.

“We built Frank to make the advanced digital marketing technology (programmatic media buying) available to SMBs. Now the marketers of SMBs can smartly target customers around the world with much lower cost,” the team said in its crowdfunding campaign.

Frank says the platform removes the complicated elements of digital marketing that would ordinarily require a dedicated specialist. It is connected to world’s biggest media channels through more than 20 ad exchanges and buying and optimising is done in real-time.

“The existing tools that compare prices on different ad exchanges are meant for big media agencies and corporations. They are far too difficult to use and require big budgets. This means that SMBs won’t get the best deals available,” Kanistik said.

On Feb 7 Frank’s crowdfunding campaign had reached investment pledges of 98,000 euros, with 17 days to go to its minimal target of 120,000 euros.
