Finnish Startup Raises Funding For Creating "Internet Of Packaging"

Smart packaging company Magic Add has raised 250,000 dollars in angel funding for product development. The company aims to create an international network of suppliers and customers with its unique coding and sensor technology, and so far it has been working in partnership with global food packaging specialist Huhtamaki on digitalized applications for food services.

“Magic Add specializes in cost-efficient, high-volume smart packaging, making it the cheapest and most effective way of embedding intelligence in packages,” describes Samuli Manninen, the CEO of Magic Add.

With applications in advertising, logistics, and process optimisation, Magic Add wants to inform customers everything they need to know about products they buy. On the other hand, the company offers advertisers a new avenue for reaching customers and enhancing customer experience.
