Danish Templafy Receives $2.5 Million from Sunstone and SEED Capital

Big news from Templafy: the template management startup from Denmark is leaping up the early stage business stairs with a recent $2.5 million investment led by SEED Capital and Sunstone. Though still in its early form, the ambitious startup is looking go global as soon as possible, an optimism largely shared by the backing VC’s.

“We are in a hurry, but with the new investors on board we have the opportunity to strengthen our team substantially and to take some very large and important steps towards our goal”, commented Templafy CEO Christian Lund.

With the immense increase in cloud service platform usage and the introduction of new devices in office environment such as tablets and smartphones, brand and communication managers are drowned with different types business documents. Templafy provides these managers with a platform that let’s them ensure visual and legal compliance in all employee-produced business documents.

“It is clear, that companies and their employees want to be able to choose freely among the many options out there. But a lot of companies still have the need to secure that their brand and company data is used correctly. We enable them to do just that and at the same time we make sure that the template management system is very easy to use and maintain.” Lund adds.

Giving Templafy a try is free of charge, but any serious usage will be billed. Prices depend largely on the size of the company and how comprehensive the service is desired to be.
