500 Startups Picks Nordic Teams

500 Startups accelerator picked a number of Nordic teams for its 18th programme which started this week.

Finnish Usetrace, Latvian Fragmentic, Estonian INZMO and Danish BIGcontrols and Siren Care are among 46 teams picked.

Dave McClure and Christine Tsai founded 500 Startups back in 2010. By now over 1,500 startups from around the world have run through the programme.

Helsinki-based Usetrace – which provides web developers automated testing solution – expects to see a growth boost from attending the programme.

“500 Startups is a perfect opportunity to spread the word and multiply our user base,” said Eero Heino, CEO and founder of Usetrace.

Danish BIGcontrols is a cloud-based compliance management solution for a complex world of tax credits & incentives. Siren Care builds smart socks for tracking your health.

Fragmentic, founded by Uldis Leiterts, says it’s “an AI constructor for building SaaS and e-commerce services from pre-designed elements, aimed at customer conversion funnel optimisation.n app for easily purchasing insurance for products or trips on a piece-by-piece basis.
