Slush’s website features a quote by Accel Partners’ Rich Wong that says Slush is totally worth flying 20 hours from San Francisco. Since he and many others are already coming over, we thought it’d make perfect sense for our guests to see some more events happening nearby around the Slush dates. Here’s our shortlist.

Helsinki

The easiest way of making the most of your time is to visit more events in the same city. Helsinki offers plenty, and we suggest these two just around Slush dates for your consideration:

Right before Slush there is European Business Angel (EBAN) Conference taking place in Helsinki. Organized by Finnish Business Angel Netwrok (FIBAN) at Marina congress centre and hosting more than 70 international startup investors EBAN is definitely worth coming by. Conference program is pretty diverse, covering main investment industries, successes and challenges, featuring inspiring investor stories and a pitching session for startups selected by seven prominent and sufficiently diverse startup builders such as Startup Sauna, AppCampus and Buildit. EBAN also offers cultural and pre-conference program on Nov 15-16.
